Our family had a lovely stay at the Connemara Lake Hotel on our 1st ever trip to Oughterard. Everything about the town and hotel was lovely. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk out the door and go grab coffee at the local market and shop at Keoghs of course! Not to mention dinner at Powers and drinks at Clancys and Fahertys. Breakfast at the hotel was a treat each morning, and a great perk that came with the stay. The family room was perfectly suited for 4 adults and we had a great view of the village from our window. Will definitely stay here again! The Sweeneys, Boston, MA.

Très bel h?tel , un superbe accueil rien à redire . Une mésaventure à cause d’un oubli de trousse de toilette dans la réception de l’h?tel lors de mon départ , l’équipe m’a fait parvenir mes affaires oubliés , vraiment merci de votre bienveillance ! Well located, parking on the street, free and easy, the breakfast is fantastic, many options and well cooked. We were so comfortable with our coffee, we didn’t want to leave.The staff is amazing. Live music around the corner, and good places to eat. Laundrette in the other side of the street. Loved the atmosphere around the hotel.

Very central, comfortable hotel. Great breakfast and lovely staff. The room was spacious and well equipped. The hotel gave us a special discounted rate as we were without electricity and water after Storm Eowyn. They treated us very kindly and we really appreciate it

Lovely family type hotel, central in the town, room was fresh and quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was great. Staff were very helpful, We left some electronic items in the room, they posted them on to me with no fuss and at their own cost. Thank you.

Such a beautiful hotel, Rooms were spotless, Staff were amazing & very friendly, especially restaurant & morning breakfast staff. Couldn’t do enough for you, food was amazing, definitely recommend a visit

Chambre très moyenne sans vue et sans eau chaude le matin ! Les parties communes sont très jolies et le petit dej très bon ! On ne peut pas manger au restaurant de l'h?tel à part le week end ! Mais très bon restaurant à c?té " the boat in'" Pas de parking ! Parking gratuit à 5 min de l'h?tel !

I stayed here for three pre-booked nights recently. I was disappointed. They don't seem to make much of an effort. The room was small with a low-lying bed and was barely adequate for one. The hot water in the morning took 10 minutes to heat up - but at least there was a notice to that effect. Rain was coming through the roof in the corridor outside my room. They serve food only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings only, from 5pm to 8pm. I opted to take my evening measl at the Boat Inn across the road. They did, however, provide a decent breakfast. Would I stay here again? No.

I would say this is an hotel a little bit stuck in the past and probably would cost too much to modernize to better standards. There are lots of things you would slate a newer hotel for but have to accept at this level. Our room was very small. Only 1 bedside locker fitted in and the bed was very low for some reason. The 10 minute tap running time for hot water not ideal either and very wasteful. The staff were friendly and very hardworking. Breakfast was very good. We did have an evening meal which was fine. I noticed a lot of locals eating in that evening which is always a vote of confidence in the food. Evening meals are only available 3 nights at the weekends. At €190 per room the hotel is not great value and reflects demand locally rather than the value offered.

C'est un bel h?tel, plein de charme, avec ses boiseries et moquette épaisse. La chambre est très correcte, et la salle de bain a une belle surface. L'accueil est souriant et sympathique malgré le fait que la personne du check-in fait également le service en salle. Très bon d?ner, enfin un peu de cuisine dans l'assiette. Et le breakfast est très complet. Point de départ idéal pour aborder le Conemara. Bon moment passé dans ce lieu.
